Stamps No.26 & No.27 In September 1890, the price of 1 att was stamped in black with the numeral “1” both in Thai and English with the word “att” in Thai between them on the original stamp price of 3 atts (green and blue) because the rate of delivery at that time was 1 att. There is no evidence of how many printing houses were involved in the production of each stamp. Printing and editing were mainly done by the Bangkok Post and Telegraph Department using two types of handstamp surcharges. The letters used for made by hand from metal and the stamp was pressed once. 110,000 stamps of both types were over printed. No. 26 was printed using four different handstamps:
