Overprinted by Götte Co. Bangkok.
Metal typeset lettering used to overprint sheets of 100 stamps, surcharging stamps No.17, 102 and 83. The price was changed to 2 Atts, 4 Atts and 9 Atts, respectively.
Stamp No.101 was surcharged 200,000 times in two settings.

Temple of dawn 1 att and 2 atts issues of 1905/1909 surcharged "2 satang" in English and Thai by Messrs. Robert Gotte and Co., Bangkok using metal lettering typeset on a printing press to meet the requirements for new currency tariffs. Each sheet contained 100 stamps. The “Att” denomination was changed to the decimal “Satang” from 15 August 1909.

#134 comes in 2 shades; pale green (1st printing) and deep green #135 (2nd printing).
#140 has a pale and deep shade based on 1st and 2nd printing.

1905 issues of 1 att and 2 atts surcharged “2 Satang” in Thai and in English. Lithographed from the same stome by K. Oyama Printing, Bangkok. Stamp No.170 was printed in 150,000 copies and No.171 in 140,000.
