Battambong Provisional Issue of September 1902 Stamps No. 94 and No.95 - Stamp No.94 in two type and stamp No. 95 in two types. In August 1902, due to a local shortage of 2 atts and 10 atts postage stamps the High Commissioner for Battambang sent a telegram to Bangkok asking for the disbursement of several stamps for release, but the Ministry of The Treasury failed to deliver them. The High Commissioner then issued an order to the Postmaster General to amend the price of the third set of stamps; 3 atts bright red and blue with the value "2 atts" in Thai only using a typewriter with violet ribbon. Similarly, the 1899 issue 12 atts brown purple and carmine was surcharged "10 atts". The postmaster was commanded to release them immediately. When the postal authorities became aware of these surcharges, they suspended the amendment and told refrained from using it, making this stamp extremely rare because of the small number of prints and the short duration of use. Only 350 stamps of the first value were printed and 360 of the second. Provisional Issue of February 1905: Stamps No. 96 and No.97 Both these stamps were printed at 50,000 each. Printed by Götte Co., Bangkok using metal-aligned letters on the printing press. Each sheet was of 100 stamps. 1904 Issue 14 atts surcharged "1 Att" in roman character English and in Thai. Bangkok. Metal typeset lettering used to overprint sheets of 100 stamps, surcharging stamps No.17, 102 and 83. The price was changed to 2 Atts, 4 Atts and 9 Atts, respectively.
